I. WHAT IS THE PROGRAM?
The Cribs for Kids® National Safe Sleep Hospital Certification program awards recognition to hospitals that demonstrate a commitment to reducing infant Sleep-Related Deaths by promoting best safe sleep practices and by educating on infant sleep safety. By becoming certified, a hospital is demonstrating that it is committed to being a community leader and is pro-actively eliminating as many sleep-related deaths as possible.
II. HOW DOES IT WORK?
Hospitals can earn one of three National Safe Sleep Certifications based on their levels of commitment:
BRONZE – Certified Safe Sleep Hospital
SILVER – Certified Safe Sleep Leader
GOLD – Certified Safe Sleep Champion
III. WE CAN HELP!
Cribs for Kids® provides a robust suite of comprehensive support materials and tools to aid you in implementing a Safe Sleep Initiative in your hospital, including: A Hospital Initiative Toolkit that you can access for a step-by-step guide on instituting the entire program; sample policy statements, training materials, and educational materials; educational posters, door hangers, and brochures; certificates of achievement; a PR kit, and more. After you submit your registration below you will be given permission to access our program materials.
